Hi John Driedger,I understand that you are trying to update Keynote but cannot install Keynote 7 since you do not yet want to install macOS Sierra. I know it's important to have up to date software, so I'm happy to help. Instead of searching the App Store, check the updates tab instead. To check for Mac software updates, open the App Store app on your Mac, then click Updates in the toolbar. If updates are available, click the Update buttons to download and install them.
The Mac App Store shows updates for Mac, not updates for iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If you don't have the App Store on your Mac, get updates by choosing Software Update from the Apple () menu.
